ZingBot or Xi-Butler — add-on or service?

Xi-Butler is a one-off Chrome add-on; ZingBot is a running service with a TalentManager path. When each makes sense.

The honest axis here is price — and the honest answer is not “we are cheaper”.

What Xi-Butler is

Xi-Butler Professional 2.0 is a Google Chrome add-on, sold through the digiware shop as a one-off purchase at EUR 27.73 (excl. VAT), running only in Chrome on Windows and macOS. It automates a large part of contact initiation and contact cultivation on XING. The same family includes “News Express Boy 2.0” (EUR 12.75) and “XING Visitor 2.0” (EUR 10.67).

For one person tending their network occasionally, that is a fair offer, and a subscription would be hard to justify against it.

Where an add-on runs out

A browser add-on runs on one machine, in one browser, for as long as that browser is open. For a recruiting team that means no shared state, no handover, nothing continuing when the laptop closes — and no route into XING Talent Manager, which is where recruiting candidates come from.

That is where ZingBot starts: a service that works your list whether or not you are sitting in front of it, with a TalentManager import and seats for a team.
